Soter wine dinner with Julia Bandy

We’re proud to partner with Julia Bandy of Soter Vineyards this October 22nd for a wine dinner promoting the health of farming systems through local and seasonal ingredients paired with wines produced through the same lens of sustainability.

Native Oregonians Tony and Michelle Soter established Soter Vineyards in 1997 following Tony’s distinguished career as consulting winemaker, organic farmer, and founder of Etude in Napa, CA. Tony and Michelle share an uncompromised commitment to their ideals in managing Soter Vineyards and Mineral Springs Ranch. 

Mineral Springs Ranch is a 240-acre biodynamic farm and vineyard in the heart of the Willamette Valley. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines are planted along the east-west running ridgeline providing optimal slope, elevation, and aspect on well-drained ancient sedimentary soils. Commitment to biodynamics means Soter works within a regenerative farming system focused on biodiversity, integration of plants and animals, and soil health.  

In addition to her role ensuring enlightened hospitality and sustainable business practices with Soter, Julia serves as an advisory board member for the non-profit organization Assemblage. Assemblage advocates for the advancement, education and empowerment of women and diverse communities in the wine industry. Julia  also consults on wine programming with Portland event space The Nightwood Society, and is presently a Diploma candidate with the Wine and Spirit Education Trust.

Tuesday, October 22nd, 6:00-9:00. Ticket price is $200 per person and includes all services and taxes. No tipping is necessary.
